Is this program a diet?

The answer to this question is a big NO! Fuel For Fat Loss is not a diet. In fact, dieting is the very thing you want to avoid. Most clients who join my program have tried a few of (or nearly all) the diets on the market. These diets may give you results initially but then after you stop the diet you gain all your weight back, if not more. The reason for this is that most diets are based on a calorie deficit. Your body, in a calorie deficit, will eventually go into starvation mode and work to store calories rather than burn them efficiently.

Fuel For Fat Loss is about clean eating and meeting your daily macronutrient requirements. Eating the right food at the right time for the right reasons, and making healthy food part of a sustainable lifestyle is key. Eating clean works to reduce and cut cravings from your diet so you do not turn to sugar, salt and treats like you used to. The goal is to feel 100% in control of your cravings and over the food you consume.

This way your results will be long-term, which is the ultimate goal of the program!

PLEASE NOTE: Fat loss results are not the same for everyone. Also fat loss results are not guaranteed. Healthy fat loss is .5-2.5lbs per week but this is not guaranteed in the program. Fuel For Fat Loss approaches weigh release from a health perspective by healing the body and working to create a perfect internal environment for fat loss to occur. If you do not see fat loss results, you may be releasing high levels of cortisone, suffering from sleep deprivation (and lack of leptin release), suffering from adrenal stress or a severely damaged thyroid. Seeking doctors approval before starting any program is advised.

What is your magic pill for weight loss results?

I have to say that THERE IS NO MAGIC PILL FOR FAT LOSS. If you’re looking for one, I promise you it doesn’t exist. I do, however, have a strategy and formula that, when implemented, has a crazy success rate.

This formula is based on working out exactly how many calories you should be having (we use a sophisticated calculator to do this), then omitting certain foods, adding the “right” foods, eating within your macros and prepping to get organized.

How much time do I need to dedicate to this program?

It really comes down to how much time you have to dedicate to the program but I would say 3-5 hours per week is ideal.

In set up week I ask that you commit 1-2 full hours in one week to the program to get 100% organized for the course (reading the material and doing the set up work).

Each day I ask you to log your food and post your macros. This can take about 15-30 mins per day to learn for the first week but once you get the hang of it you will find you can cut it down to 2 mins.

Workouts: Your daily HIIT workouts are 20 minutes long. That’s it!! These are based on High Intensity Interval Training, so all you need is 20 minutes to go hard and BE DONE FOR THE DAY!!! Oh, and burn a ton of calories during and after the workout.

While activity is always a great part of a healthy lifestyle program, it is not the #1 focus of this course, especially if it’s your first time.

Each week of the program you will be learning how to prep more and more food. It usually takes 1 hour to grocery shop each week and then 2-3 hours to prep one day a week. My clients who have been meal prepping for a while though have become so efficient at it that they have cut it down to a few hours each month.

Can I participate in the workouts if I have an injury?

Yes - you absolutely can! My advice here is to seek a professional in person to help you rehab that injury, such as a chiropractor or physiotherapist.

Then if anything bothers your injured body part during the workout, please avoid it. You can always replace with a different exercise.

What are typical results of program?

Typical results are 6-15lbs of fat loss per month and continued or sustained weight loss well after the program is completed. Healthy fat loss is .5-3lbs per week and will be determined by how much weight you have to lose (the more weight you have usually the more weight you will lose in the program).

The best part of Fuel For Fat Loss is that you are given the tools for sustainable long term weight loss success.

Do I receive a customized menu plan?

No, you do not receive a customized menu plan. This has been the BEST part of the program and the reason for such a highly successful fat loss rate.

You will be given the tools to determine exactly how many calories YOU should be consuming as well as how many calories to consume for protein, carbs and fats.

Once you determine these numbers, I show you how to create your own menu plan using approved foods, my recipes, and using my sample menu plan as a guide.

The education component of the program is easy to follow and ensures you understand why you’re eating these foods and how to put them together to create the perfect macro split (more on macros in the program). This also ensures that when the program is completed or when you eat out/travel you are not confused or at a loss for what to eat. You now have the tools to implement these practices anywhere and make it sustainable.

Is it ok to participate if I am breastfeeding?

Yes! You can absolutely participate, although there may be 1 or 2 things we need to modify. For example, I would not recommend doing the 1-3 day smoothie cleanse. In addition, some of the workouts may need to be modified or taken at a lower intensity. Aside from that, our program is based on clean eating, which only benefits the body and your baby.

Throughout the program we will listen to your body, and continually keep an eye on your milk supply. However, when you eat the right foods, you won’t see a decrease in milk supply. We will also be sure to check on your caloric intake and ensure that you are not in a calorie deficit. My program is designed to fuel your body in a way that is perfectly safe for nursing moms.

Do I need to purchase any shakes or supplements to participate in this program?

No.  I am a huge proponent of fueling your body with real food, and this program is based on that premise. Nothing is required but hard work, commitment and positivity.

Am I a good fit for this program?

Anyone can participate in Fuel For Fat Loss—male or female at any age.

This program has been incredibly successful for women who have a foundation of working out and under 100 pounds to lose. My program is challenging and will require commitment. If you have more than 100 pounds to lose and have not worked out in a long time, then we can make the program work for you, but it will require some modifying. If that’s you, I will have you start with our nutritional program, then ease you into our workouts. I truly want you to see results, but I also want you to be safe and remain injury-free. So, if you have more than 100 pounds to lose, we will move a little more slowly, but will eventually be able to ease you into the full program and lifestyle over time. I am vegan/vegetarian/celiac/lactose intolerant and have lots of food dislikes. Can I modify?

Yes! This program caters to all food requirements. You will receive a sample menu plan (based on how I eat) then given appropriate foods you can incorporate into your menu plan, which you create. This way, using proper parameters, you are choosing the right foods you NEED and LIKE to eat.

If I am already a member of a gym and doing regular classes, or if I am meeting with a personal trainer, can I just continue with my current workouts, and do the menu plan?

Absolutely! The most important part of Fuel For Fat Loss is the food part, as my belief is that nutrition can account for 50-75% of your results.

If you have access to a trainer—AWESOME! Let them know about the plan so they can support you.

Do I need a gym membership to complete this program?

I offer both a gym and at-home workout version. Both are equally effective and you are welcome to do either.

If I will be doing the home workouts, what equipment do I need?

If you are going to be doing the home workouts, I recommend purchasing a mat and 5, 8 OR 10 pound weights. If you’ve never lifted weights before, starts with 5 lbs. If you have lifted weights before, 8s or 10s will work.

Do I have to follow a strict plan?

I will explain how to calculate your macros (carbs, fats, protein) and also give you a sample meal plan and recipes. However, you will have the flexibility to consume the foods you truly enjoy. Note: This program can be made vegan-friendly.

Am I required to be on Facebook to join the group?

I host the Fuel For Fat Loss community groups on Facebook. Most of my clients choose to join a Facebook community group for daily tips and accountability. While I do 100% recommend you join a Facebook group for best results, it is not required for participation in the program.

What does my program investment of $199 include?

5 week program (1 week for set up and 4 weeks for the actual program).

What are the workouts like?

This plan is meant to be sustainable and I do not expect you to spend hours in the gym. We incorporate exercise 5 days per week and rest 2 days per week. All workouts are just 20 minutes from start to finish.

Our focus through the Fuel For Fat Loss Academy is nutrition. The workouts will help you accelerate and maximize your results, but many of my clients simply follow the nutrition part of the program.

You will receive the workouts via an online portal. You can pull the portal up on your phone and even print the workout if desired.

There are no refunds given for any reason. Should a health concern arise during the program, making clean eating food choices would only speed up healing and promote health so we encourage you to stick with the program.

As part of the program you have access to our online community. You can access all course information through the portal and use the Facebook private group to check in with other members and me daily. Please ask all questions in the group.

This is not a one-one-one private coaching program. Your initial $199 allows you group access when it comes to accountability and questions. Email and Facebook messenger are not an acceptable way to contact your coach. All questions must be asked within the group Facebook page.

This group page is intended to encourage engagement and participation. If I don’t hear from you within 3 days in your group, you will be removed.
